The Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) + Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) training focuses on understanding how human behaviour, workplace conditions and organizational systems influence safety in industrial environments.
This course integrates BBS and HOP as two complementary and equally important approaches. Participants learn how to recognize behaviours, understand why they occur, identify the context behind decisions and improve the organizational conditions that support safer work.
Participants will explore how factors such as stress, perception, decision-making, work pressure, procedures, leadership, tools and workplace conditions impact safety performance in real operational contexts.
The training combines Behaviour Based Safety practices — such as observation, feedback and risk awareness — with Human and Organizational Performance principles, helping teams move beyond blame, understand work as it is actually performed and identify improvements that make safe behaviour easier and more reliable.
