Have a Machine Safety Risk Assessment carried out – legally compliant and practical

Anyone who takes occupational health and safety seriously within their organisation must ensure that a professional machine safety risk assessment is carried out at an early stage. This is the only way to systematically identify and assess hazards and counter them with appropriate protective measures.

As an experienced partner in occupational health and machine safety, tec.nicum supports companies and employers in implementing legally compliant and standard-conforming measures in line with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act), the Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV) in Germany, the Technical Rules for Industrial Safety (TRBS), and the Accident Prevention Regulations in Germany (UVV).

The implementation of risk assessments is a legal requirement in Germany and forms the foundation of all occupational health and safety measures. Whether machines, workplaces or organisational processes – we ensure transparency, structure and safety.

Machine Safety Risk Assessment of Work Equipment – more than just an obligationt

A machine safety risk assessment is a key element of any company’s safety strategy. It involves analysing technical systems and work equipment as well as individual machines and tools for potential hazards. Our experts identify risks arising from physical, chemical or ergonomic stress factors, assess the likelihood of occurrence and propose targeted protective measures in accordance with the current state of the art.

Particular emphasis is placed on integrating the results into everyday practice – for example through adapted operating instructions, training courses or additional inspection procedures. The aim is to achieve a lasting improvement in occupational health and safety that goes well beyond minimum legal requirements.

Conducting Machine Safety Risk Assessments – structured & efficient

At tec.nicum, carrying out a machine safety risk assessment always begins with a comprehensive inventory. Using a coordinated checklist, we record all relevant hazards and prioritise them. In doing so, we take legal requirements, internal company standards and current norms and guidelines into account.

Our experts guide you not only through the evaluation and risk assessment itself, but also through the entire approval process – including documentation, action planning and implementation. Potential training requirements for employees are also considered in order to optimally support your internal processes.

When you commission an external risk assessment, you receive a comprehensive analysis including inspection, risk evaluation, recommended measures, legally compliant documentation, supporting operating instructions and, where necessary, a training concept.

A complete risk assessment includes at least the following:
    • Identification of hazards

    • Documentation of all results
    • Verification of effectiveness
