The tec.nicum Academy offers internationally recognized certification programs for professionals seeking to validate their expertise and strengthen their competencies in industrial and machine safety.
These certifications are developed and delivered in partnership with leading institutions, ensuring high technical standards, practical relevance and global recognition.
Functional Safety of Machinery
The Functional Safety certification program provides in-depth knowledge of safety-related control systems in accordance with international standards such as ISO 13849 and IEC 62061.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of risk assessment, safety functions, performance levels and system validation, enabling them to design, implement and evaluate safety systems in industrial environments.
Machinery CE Expert (TÜV Rheinland)
The Machinery CE Expert certification focuses on the European regulatory framework for machinery, including the Machinery Directive and applicable harmonized standards.
Participants will develop the competence to assess conformity, prepare technical documentation and support CE marking processes, ensuring compliance with European safety requirements.
This certification is delivered in partnership with TÜV Rheinland, providing independent validation and international credibility.
IMSC
International Machine Safety Certification
The IMSC is an advanced training and certification program designed for professionals who want to deepen their technical expertise and obtain independent recognition in machine safety.
Developed and delivered by tec.nicum academy, the program combines structured technical learning, practical industrial application and a final third-party certification assessment in partnership with TÜV Rheinland.
Participants will develop competencies across the full machinery lifecycle, including risk assessment, safeguarding strategies, electrical safety and functional safety principles.
This program is designed for engineers, safety specialists, integrators and end users involved in the design, operation and validation of machinery and industrial systems.
Additional certification programs will be continuously introduced to expand the Academy’s portfolio and address evolving industry requirements.
